Question about 8.8 rear end

Im planning on getting the Ford Racing 8.8" 31 spline with 3.73 gears rear axle, does it bolt right up or is there some modification involved?

Its drop out and bolt in dude. No modifications nessicary you can even reuse your UCA and LCA's but this would prob be a great time to replace those bushings while you have it out.

if you ever look at an axle the spline is how many little ridges there are that intersync with the diff. so the more spline the more connection points you have meaning a strong rear

So what else would be required to get this to bolt up to a 1998 mustang?
And the deal with the brakes... do I not have drum brakes now?

the LMR one mught be a four lug axle shaft... check and make sure its not... the only reason i say this is they advertise it for the Fox's which were 4 lugs...
