Hmm, so I have a Conv '02, where is....

THE DAMN INERTIA SWITCH!? Im going crazy. Ive literally looked through this forum for about 45 minutes trying to get an exact answer. I know what to do once I get to the filter but its alot easier to get things done with that switch disconnected. Ive pulled the covers out of my truck. I see nothing that make look like the right one to disconnect. Can somone give an *Exact* location of the inertia switch for disconnection?

Wasted effort. its already getting dark and I had to use my cell phone as light. I tried to remove the safety harness but the screw is too rusted to even budge. And I have to buy new safety clamps because the old ones are rusted to hell too. Not to mention I removed the back trunk piece and I didnt have to. I have no idea how to get that thing back on those clamps. Its like the are plastic so no real way to just pop them on there without replacing them. Atleast I know what to do if I wanted to replace my amp.

those plastic push tabs are cheap and you can get new ones in a pack of 6-10 for a buck or two from the autoparts store.

are you trying to replace the fuel filter?

Yeah I actually finally finished replacing the filler. It was a hell of alot of good fun getting gas on me. I ran the car out of gas after releasing the button. I had to spray some WD-40 on the screw cause it was so rusted when removing the filter from the clamp. How do you remove those place tabs in the trunk though? Just yank them out or cut?
