03 v8 motor in a 04 v6

I saw a engine from a 03 mustang v8 and could all the sensors and everything connect to my v6. The engine is under $ 2K with only 9K miles on it. How much would it cost to have this thing working in my v6, not counting the cost of the engine, just the installation?

yupp, its not just dropping in a v8 dude like you think

you can but soon that rear will have to be improved, computer, electronics have to match inside so that you speedmeter and rpm gauge and the other gauges are all correct. your front end will be a little lower then it was before probably.
exhaust will be needed unless you wana run open headers which at 1500rpms will be very loud alone
i'd say in the end it'll cost near $3k+

If it helps any I just got quoted on dropping a 351 into my 6 (easy to do surprisingly Saleen did it on all the s351's from 95-00) and it will cost me 2875 to get it all done and correctly. That doesn't include the cost of parts.

what?! why? $1,200 for the engine
$1k to install
who knows how much to correct everything inside, it can be $0 or couple hundred, 8.8 rear-$500-$1,200k...$500 if your LUCKY!
you'll need a new face gauges cause you have new rev limits
exhaust..you need headers, a mid pipe and cat back. that can be $400-$1,300, $400 for GT take off if you find it that cheap wiht the headers, that are actually just exhaust manifolds. not including installing

so its garunteed about $2,600. with out the rear and sayin that the computer and electronics and bullshit is $0 or nothign to work on
but it can easily be $3k which it most likely will be. or more
if you want the 8.8 rear...which will be needed eventually unless you put t-lok and beef of the rear which is still $500+

so it'll be around $3k-$4k
tell me how in the world can that be compared to putting these options

power pak (beat a GT)
or turbo (beat a GT)
or supercharger (beat a GT)
or nitrous (beat a GT)
or full bolt ons (which can keep up with the GT's)
or forged internals, 8.8 rear, and some other mods(might not beat a GT but MUCH stronger then a GT engine)

all that is the same price or cheaper! like the power pak-$2350 for stage 3 which add 90hp
nitous-$500
bolt ons- $2,500
s/c-anywhere from $2k-$4.7k

you better off selling your car for a GT
in no way does that swap make sense on doing
