MAF Sensor


Whats a good one to buy? i would like to upgrade the stock one and i may do a supercharger down the road not to sure yet. i was thinking about using the one from SCT. i have to replace it cause mine went bad.

stocker for now...new maf means new tune i do believe

what supercharger are u lookin into getting

idk i already im looking to get it tuned so idc about that but whats the difference between the lightening 90mm and the sct90mm. Is there a difference? which one should i get. Im not usin stock.

thas why i didnt say i was sure. someone else will have to chime in for sure on it, but more metered air and a different meter seems to me like it would need some sort of adjustment...i could be very wrong tho

after receiving some more info on this...u will need a tune for a different maf, or will at least need to tell the computer that so and so maf is on there...hence a tune...

alright so i bought the SCT MAF sensor and i went to go bolt it up and the holes on my intake and the holes on my MAF sensor dont line up. Wtf do i do? did i get the wrong part?

no what sensor did you get
the SCT mafs dont directly bolt up
they need a different flange and the bigger housing

actually i have a housing here that i dont need now that i think about it
i dont use it, it came with my SCT BA2800
i'll sell it for $10plus $5 shipping
vmp used to sell them for like $40+ or something

im selling it for $10 because it'll cost money for me to get the box

i dont have any in my photobucket i'll have to take a pic tomorrow
it looks like your stock housing just much bigger and is meant for the SCT BA mafs
