Well that was exciting.

I raced a frikkin PROBE 5spd and lost the other day. Now i have exhaust and a cai done to my car performance wise atm, and he has same... i have an auto.
My old friend had a probe auto and i had about 4 cars on him... this 5spd had about 3 on ME!
Wth is that, the worlds fastest probe, lost 10 dollars (lol!!!)
Anyways... wth will put me ahead? 50 shot? 75 shot?

Looks like me and my gf arent splitting up, she put her ring back on... so the engine will take FOREVER once i even get it! (those who read my previous thread)

I prolly go ahead and finish my bolt ons and get a bottle b4 i start so things like... probes (omfg!!!) wont beat me lol.

Wheres best place to get like a complete 75 shot kit, im thinkin about goin with 75. not really wanting to spend over 350 on the kit if I dont absolutely have to... I'm lookin for a button instead of WOT. I know to only press in high rpms, I'm not looking for a story from people tellin me to go WOT either, I want a button, that's what I will buy. Unless WOT is alot cheaper or somethin

it was probably a turbo probe they are decently quick, meant to replace the mustang at one point.

on nitrous though you can get a NOS sniper kit for 319 and it come with a mechanical WOT switch, all kits pretty much do. You can leave it out and go with a push button system but thats just dumb especially without a window switch you asking for problems since you never ever ever wanna spray without being at WOT and if you spray below 3k in your car your gonna have a horrible back fire with that single port intake

point in fact save up 600 bucks get a NOS sniper kit and
this window/electric WOT switch
DynoTune Product, 711.2-DynoTune one Stage RPM Window Switch / TPS - DynoTune, Nitrous systems, Purge kits, Nitrous Bottle heaters and more!

and this heater
Nitrous oxide bottle warmer kits for 10oz to 10lb nitrous bottles. Nitrous bottle heater will keep the pressure steady making more HP. Warm that nitrous bottle with high temp nitrous oxide bottle heaters and warmers in orange and black colors. - Nitr

and you will thank yourself believe me spraying at 300psi is a dud

well i dont want a wot one, i want to control when it's spraying... not just by pressing down the peddle all the way... when im racing of course it's down all the way, i may not need to spray at a certain time when the nos is ready, and i never know untill the race if i'll need to spray or not. so i want a button where i have COMPLETE control of when it sprays.

"and you will thank yourself believe me spraying at 300psi is a dud"
what do you mean spraying at 300psi?

well you have an activation switch which you can control, but a push button really is asking for disaster in most cases, as well as you will need a remote bottle opener which is about 200 unless your just gonna drive around with the bottle open.

and bottle pressure is key with out a heater you will have at most 600psi in your bottle normally when 950psi is the recommended pressure

have a WOT switch but wire the arming switch to be a button... that way you can push the button and it will look like you are firing your Nitrous but your actually arming the system

that could work, but having to hold in a button the entire time you spray is just ruff, especially since it need to cut off during the shifts in which case he would have to be very good at timing things, a push button system is just not functional

well damn. where would the switches go? can anyone show me some pics of what it would/could look like where they would go?
so you're saying it could have three switches correct?
switch #1
it would have one switch that activates it for wot, turning it all on, then i just press down the gas pedal all the way and it's spraying...right?
switch #2&3
have the "remote bottle opener" set up to two switches, one that opens the bottle, one that closes it... or is the remote an actual remote that has to just sit somewhere, like in your console. i need a pic if you dont mind gf or someone

the bottle opener is a switch like a light plug... there are, from what i see, 2 different designs for remote bottle openers, here inafter RBOs. there is an inline RBO that just closes and opens and leaves the bottle open at all time, and there is a... i guess you could call it a pneumatic system... i guess, what it does is actually activates a motor to turn the valve open or close on top of the bottle

ok you will have an activation switch that you arm the system with, then you have a WOT switch this sits under the throttle cable pulley and a circuit is completed at WOT so the system turns on the solenoids open and you spray. You would have a on off switch for the opener on opens the bottle off closes it, and youll have an on off switch for the heater. I also suggest you get a window switch (not an actual switch but it turn on when you hit 3k rpm) if your gonna spray over a 25 especially with a single port engine this will ensure your at high enough rpm to carry the fuel and nitrous into the engine

for a total kit thats safe and not gonna blow your intake plenum off
kit-319
heater-90
bottle opener- 220 (not really needed but if you want to be able to turn the bottle on and off from the drivers seat you need it)
window switch-100
total -729 not counting shipping or install fees if you cant do it yourself

where would the switches be placed though... where in the car? i was thinking...
i have an alpine stereo now
so of course its a 1 piece stereo instead of a 2...
on the bottom where the other piece was i placed a cubby hole(dont fit very well anyways)
and I was thinkin maybe taking that out and putting a solid piece over it, but cutting holes and wiring the switches there and attachin them... where else would they go?

it was push button start, but its gone now. as far as the plate goes, it was just a random piece of steel that i cut to fit and then polished it. then run the wires into the cubby hole and to the back of the switches
