steering wheel shakes


around 40 or 50 mph when im braking the steering wheel seems to shake but after i go under 40 or go over 50 it stops shaking when i brake

what could be the problem??

when was the last time you had your wheels aligned?

seriously tho...i think its ur balance....i think the alignment thing would be noticeable, like it pulls a certain way, etc.

could be alignment, wheel/tire balance, loose u-joint is a possibility, possibily bad tread pattern from lack of alignment before. Numerous things it could be.

i work for my walmart TLE and i see this problem alot...its usually the balance...w/ is only a $5 a tire fix...if that doesn't help out then u'll want to check w/ a shop
