yeah it was all together ...we double check for leaks and stuff like that ...it wasnt until i ran the car that it happened...my friends dad is a mechanic and he said it might be because the car was lowered and it changed the position of the stock rack and pinion but idk??

i don't think it would. Sure it's a possibility but I doubt it. All racks are goin to leak sometime in their lifetime. Yeah, yours isn't old at all, but they all go.

did u put more power steering fluid in or something? could be too much pressure...inspect ur power steering stuff. then once u replace it turn the car on and turn the wheel slowly while someone is looking under there to see if anything is gettin squeezed anything wrong

thats a low ass drop you probably blew a strut and bottomed out (hard steering) which put to much pressure on that boot, causeing the rack to fail get better struts or its gonna do it again

yeah i dunno i never had the problem? i just snapped that stupid strut stablizer and it dropped my car even lower on one side haha. but yeah canucks motor sport springs 2" drop ( so they say but i know it went alot further) lol but yeah my things are angled up too but i got a bump steer kit tryign to fix it. let me know how hard it is to replace those things. i need a stupid puller or w/e. anwyays i'm a 2004 same colour and no problems like that yet.
