um FI is cheaper in a sense. but anyways your looking at
Exhaust
Heads
headers
pullies
intake
upper and lower manifolds
cam
push rods
crank
valve lifters
fuel pump
injectors
pistons
and some other stuff but thats what i can think of right now..
anyways F/I and a built motor kinda end up going together anyways.so never put it out of the question unless you want a N/A set up.

all motor means you don have any power adders other than your motor, cheapest set up is nitrous the a s/c system, then a turbo, all motor would cost the most and make you the least amount of power on a v6

there is a N/A V6 in the 10's in the 1/4. it all depends on how deep your pockets are and how streetable and reliable you want to be. i would say around 300-350whp would be a nice N/A V6, but its going to cost you some $$$. i have around 300whp with just boltons and supporting mods for a 75-100 shot. much cheaper. but a turbo/blower set up would be my favorite.

no matter what you do, you have to spend a shit load to go fast. Unless you pop your hood one day and the fairys that protect your car at night swapped your 3.8 for an ls1, then your in the 12s already.

thats ssms's sixer, thats also in a fox body weighing 2400lbs. it only runs 11s n/a and 10s on nitrous.

if you go ALL OUT on a new edge v6, you could probly hit 280-290rwhp wit a manual trans, FULL bolt-ons, 4.3l stroker, and h/c/i. to reach 11s n/a you would need a full drag suspension, tubular suspension components, as much weight reduction as possible and slicks. it wouldnt be a very pretty street car imo. however if you decide to go forced induction you could get those same numbers wit a simple 8-9 psi and even bigger numbers wit more boost and built engine/trans/rear end

all motor is no more then 300 hp out of the V6 essex's blocks, they just can't handle much more... not enough potential.

and it is going to cost more then forced induction if done right.
