any ideas for cheap do it yourself ram scoop?


i dont want to weld, but its not out of the picture, my friend has a mig and i know my way around it. but anyone have very EASY idea for someone with absolutely no money? lol well, lets say under 30 bucks.

just buy 2 ebay CAI kit from ebay and im pretty sure you can do it

or pvc or any piping from home depot can do the trick

PVC WHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes another true redneck at heart. just make sure that instead of the rubber pieces you use duck tape to connect the pvc

if you think its funny pvc pipes to get hot to fast at all, better then the metal intake... paint it black and it wont look bad

um you couldn't pay me to put pvc in my car unless you are building ac duct work and then it works rather well. trust me the H1 has pvc ac ducting i work on em.....
well it seems i just sponsered a tequila night

i'd prefer a nice looking PVC piping CAI then even a K&N intake

I assume your talking about for your 67 I had a friend who went to a junk yard grabbed a 04 gt scoop put that over a hole in his hood and then sealed off the carburetor with a rubber gasket like the old 6 packs used to do
