gold badges? sunroof?

i just bought a 96 mustang v6 and it has gold badges all the way around. also a sunroof that i dont believe opens, can anyone tell me anything about this? i dont believe ive seen any other mustangs with a sunroof is it aftermarket?

sunroof is aftermarket and probably drips...

did you pay extra for this "special edition" mustang??

the golds is not aftermarket, my ex had a black mustang with gold. its werid but she bought it new like that, it was a 99. the sunroof thats aftermarket.

no mustang comes with gold badges from the factory. if it did then we would have heard of it

yeah its after market, I have seen mustangs with sunroofs all are pre 99 so im not ure if you could add it on at ford or not those years but badges are def aftermarket

factory yes,

now gold badges could be a dealership extra to try and sell a car, no its not FACTORY... but it did come with the car new.

anything exterior thats gold is an instant 15hp. but x2 on that all being aftermarket. hopefully the guy didnt try saying it was "limited" edition. My first steps would be to take off the gold and make sure the roof doesnt leak. If it does, fix it asap.

ive seen new edges with sunroofs, looks kinda tacky for my taste though. It just doesnt fit right. I have never heard about the gold badges though.

i've seen it on the 94 GTS... the sunroof that is.

it's an option from the factory that not that many people got.... it looks taky unless the spoiler isn't there...

yea man its got a gold horse in the front. gold ponies w/the three stipes on the sides. gold KEYHOLES?? an more gold ponies w/stripes on all the wheels... and a gold Ford badge on the back. i already painted the Ford badge in the back black (not the whole thing just the gold) an i painted the front pony black. the cars white so im going with the whole white/black look. an the sunroof dosnt leak any. its already rained/washed my car. an nuthin. it runs fine, no performance mods. i recently took off the "snorkel/silencer" when i did a tune up. thats about it. oh an no i didnt pay extra im not a sucker lol
