cold air intake, duals

alright im driving a 2000 sixer, no big deal. just wanna kno how much of a boost in hp and gas mileage, i would get if i were to put in a cold air intake and dual exhaust (not true duals, i dont like their sound on a v6 and dont wanna spend that much, im talkin single pipe split off duals)

Absolutely none...

Don't you think Ford already tuned it for maximum MPG?

with any power mods, most people actually see a decrease in mpg because they can't keep their foot off the throttle...

not true. i am still getting 280 miles per tank and i have been flooring it everywhere since the s/c.

oh and to the OP you will see little to no gain with that stuff.

if you are going to get exhaust then get true duals, single with dual outlets is a waste IMO.. and it doesn't sounds good? heres some vids of my car's exhaust
before the supercharger...

yea IMO both of those are for show really the cai will heat up after bout 15mins an the duals yea itll help flow but wont affect performance TOO much i think u loose a little backpressure. but still there must-haves for any enthusiasts. if u want to see some change get a Tune.

+1 on duals... I don't really think it's the fact that it's a true dual or not that makes the difference in sound... I think the sixers you've heard with true duals just have really bad sounding setups...

Hpipe + flowmaster = best combo for sixers IMO

for example... (not my car, just my favorite vid)

first of all, get ture duals. Y pipe duals are worthless.

i gained 3-4 mpg with udp, cai and tune
