how can i get more power

i honestly wanna make my mustang a beast of the streets. not rich or anything so a supercharger is out of the question. so for the sake of being realistic, what is the best/cheapest way for me to increase my horsepower?

gears, they wont give you power but you will gain about 2-3 faster than you are now, if you get 3.73s or 4.10s you will fall in love with them, then get nitrous or start with bolt ons............look at what johnson posted

^ lol i was in the same boat as you man, had a sixer, made it look nice...but unless u have money thats about all u can do with one, itd be easier to finance a GT within ur budget

nah ive heard v6 with h-pipe and flowmaster 40s, and it sounds pretty damn good

thats actually the set up i had on my v6, sounds great from idle, but the higher the rpm the worse it sounded
