Tranny.

When sometimes I put it into drive or reverse theres a what seems to be a loud dropping noise in my rear end of the car. 2000 4 speed auto. Any ideas. I'm pretty pissed cause I haven't been ripping on my car so I really dont need this right now.

How much? Cause I'm dealing with my tires right now. I know why but all the broken bottles in the 407 end up under my tires.

that is pretty much the problem....my 69 did that all the time and my dad said that it was the u-joints...i wouldnt replace just the rear i would replace both of them...and u-joints are not that expensive
