For those that dont believe in V6's. *10 sec V6 vert in street trim*

grabbed this off of 3.8mustang.com. he works with TMAturbo.com who specifically made kits for the V6 mustangs.

this car is in full street trim on DR's and weighing over 4000lbs with the driver

10.69 @ 133.25 MPH (Street Tune, 18" BFG DR's, peak boost 15.4PSI during that run, 93 pump gas only)

link to original thread.

Yeah thats Jay's v6. Has a tma turbo kit.

Not sayin anyone doesnt believe in a v6, but a lot of sixxers are gonna have a hard time keeping up when I supercharge my car. I'm goin for a goal that can be easily obtained with a supercharge of 400 to the wheels to start with, but capable of a lot more.

that car on 3 different calculators proved it should be a 700+hp car
at the tire

thats a 4000+lb car on just 15psi,with drag radials...
that car with slicks and skinnies and suspension more set up for drag alone would probably hit a flat 10s
in a coupe with weight reduction EASY with out slicks or suspension is 9s
oh on 15psi only
race fuel a tune for 6300rpms instead of 5900rpms
22psi
slicks and skinnies and suspension work in a coupe thats a 8second car easy

that car is beyond impressive and isnt even using his full potiential
that car is capable of pushing 400more rpms with good sized turbos that it has it'll make MORE power
15psi is nothing for that motor. that is a very seriously well built motor

YouTube - Nelson Racing Engines-1073 hp 4.3L V6
thats a very custom motor
completely custom intake design and that 26psi+
J is using just cut-n-weld upper and a ported lower
a custom intake setup would net such high gains its rediculous since his heads are CNC big valves and the ported upper and lower cannot flow enough to match it.
so opening that up and on 20psi i bet his numbers would match that.

J made 600+rwhp on just 93 octane and only 16psi through an auto
estimated the motor alone makes about 750hp crank or more for sure
40hp through custom intakes
640rwhp
maybe a full 6300rpm pull 670rwhp and thats being nice
then 20psi about 750rwhp
which is also being nice

with race fuel and more tuning 800rwhp is obtainable
which is over 1000crank hp so maybe 22psi being nice
on 26psi that ford motor can do it if the bottom doesnt give out

Yeah northeast dragway. Been there few months ago.

I would love to see a v6 beat me when I'm supercharged.

doesnt take that much money more then it would take a GT to make that power
both require built motors
upgraded fuel injectors, tanks, pumps, wiring for the fuel
a tune
upgrade diff parts
upgraded tranny
and it would take a SOHC 2V 4.6 15+psi to make the same power J did with 15-16psi
on the same fuel

im willing to take you up on that offer cricket, only the race will never happen
but theres an n/a V6 that would take on s/c stock motor GTs all day and you know the car.

Ive already raced a s/c GT with motor work.

this is already turning into a V6 vs GT debate and a mod started it....

plus cricket mentioning your car s/c in this thread has no point other starting problems not to mention it this thread is about a car that would smoke your car s/c or turbo'd with your motor as is. so that statment is very pointless other then stiring up issues.

Only causes problems if you let it cause problems. I'm not making a debate. I stated my position. I said that I would love to see a sixxer beat me when I'm supercharged. So why do you have to go and say shit like that?

I'm failing to see where he owned me.
how much are you planning on making supercharged? cause to be honest we have a guy making good numbers with a D-1sc as well. 540+rwhp @18psi on 93oct i beleive.

and im going for 500+rwhp on my p1-sc on pump gas. so the supercharged guys are getting it done as well.

whatever you make i hope it's alot. cause there are alot of turboed v6's coming up that arent even breaking a sweat hitting 400rwhp.

Trust me I know. I used to own a sixxer.

I'm not looking for a lot, and what I want is easy to make(well what I want for now). But honestly most guys who are modding aren't making the power that these guys are making.

My main problem is with torres making assumption that what I'm saying is only going to cause trouble.
