2000 mustang


hey i need some advice i have a 2000 mustang v6 its got the bbk intake package offered on rpmoutlet bbk headders and pypes exhaust i need to know if i can put an 11psi supercharger on it without beefin the engine to because the last thing i wanna do is blow the engine

it matters a lot on your miles. If you are gonna run 11 psi I would beef the engine a bit 9 is about as high as I would go on your engine.

11 is a lot on stock internals, and possibily for your rear end depending on what numbers you would be putting down, and also 11 psi without a t-lok is not smart.

you can do it. but you can say bye to rear after a few launches and your engine will hate you til you get some forged internals


you woulda been better off with long tubes if you were getting a s/c. but w/e

i was gunna strap on a turbo and just wait til i had money for the rear and forged internals

instead im saving it for last...i'd do the same with a s/c

then agains VMP runs a 450hp v6 on stock internals

at 11psi i'd say you'd be at around 400hp or soo maybe less soo i'd say you'd be good, just get an 8.8 rear or t-lok and beef up the 7.5
