no, not the bulbs or any fuse, its the flasher but on some newer cars likelate 90's on up they use a computer chip type flasher unlike the old round metal lookin ones. thanks though. any one had the flasher go out ? i know im not the only one...

it is the flasher there isnt a computer chip or anything you just have a relay(or flasher) that plugs into your fuse box

Yeah it's a relay. Just get a new relay, and replace it. If that doesn't work check the fuse, and the bulbs...or check those first, then replace the relay.

Test the relay but popping the hood, and turning your turn signal on and going to the relay and listening to hear if it clicks.

o.k. I'm sure its the relay, thank you all for the help. i just didn't know exactly what {relay, flasher, chip } the deal was called. not to pry, but are you sure its under the hood because when they decide not to work there is a buzzer/ringer around the steering wheel/under dash area that goes of at a constant rate until you disengage the turn signal. like this morning it didn't work it was cold then warmer this afternoon it did. now again to nite it didn't and it was cold again. i usually store my car round this time but cant now and its been bothering me. thanks again....
