yeah CAI might give you 3mpg if your lucky the gears will steal more on the highway which I guess is what you will be driving mainly.

i wouldnt recommend getting gears if you drive that long....because it will kick your rpms up and it will still your mpg...but if you didnt drive that far then i would say get them

With 3.73 gears and an auto tranny, I ran about 2800rpm to 3000rpm at 70mph.

Go with 4:10s. What is two gallons or less on the interstate? lol, plus you will like them alot more when you kill people off the line!

I think the trade-off is worth it but others disagree.

Im averaging 22 mpg now. What will average after the change? The 22 mpg is when I drive 130 miles on the highway, and burn the rest in town.

gas milage will only change +/- 1 or 2 mpg on average from 2.73 to 4.10. your driving habits may become more lead-footed, but under the same conditions, the change is not much.

12 city, 20 interstate....i'll take that for a 5.0 with stock gears....shouldnt change that much when i get 4:10s, but the rest of the mods will probably hurt it lol. it will not be driven too much when everything is done with it though!

I have reported 22 for the last 7-8 tanks. I shift around 2500 rpm.
