race

Would my 2000 3.8 with a Jet chip and exhaust (stock headers) beat my old 1998 4.3 S-10 with a K&N? It ran 16.1 at best-ive never raced my Mustang.

agreed. like i said launch at around 4500 or even higher if you want, shift at every 2500 rpm. but remember, outsmart his ass, weight is an issue. lose the spare tire, jackstand, dead body, etc. also, lower your rear tire pressure just a bit. thats what i do if i get a chance. oh, and let your hood up and put ice on your cai if you have one. just dont get water on wires

you cant launch that high with a rev limiter...mine only lets me go to 4,500

but thats point less. with only one wheel spinning he'll spin like crazy launching at that high an rpm...more like 2k...and feather it still..

96-98 no idea
99-04 between 15.8-16.3
05-07 I would say 15.3-16 maybe not sure on that though
