Gear question

I own a 1998 ford mustang V6 automatic. Its my project car going to be used as a show car when I'm done. I plan on doing an engine swap with a 4.3 long rod stroker from supersix motorsports and an ATI Procharger with the D-1SC and the 3 core intercooloer. I've heard that my rear axle would snap with the kind of power I'm talking about. I've heard that automatics should use 4.10's, and if they use a supercharger, then 3.73's are the best. What's the difference between the two and which one should I use. I know that my mustang v6 has a 7.5 inch rear. Should I beef up my 7.5 inch or should I replace it with an 8.8? I was thinking about this kit for an 8.8:

So, you want to beef up your Mustang's 8.8" rear? How about a kit that gives you EVERYTHING you need to make it bullet-proof? This is that kit! We include what you need to make your rear axle ready for severe service, be it on the drag strip or the road course.

YDG-F88311 Dura Grip severe duty 31 spline differential
YA-FM4235D hardened 31 spline 5 lug axles
ARP-1007703 chromemoly steel 3.5" studs
YG-F88373 heavy duty3.73 gears
YK-F88 master bearing kit
AK-1563 axle bearing & seal kit
M4034A carrier bearing cap stud kit
TFS-8510100 heavy duty differential support/cover
LRS-4851A pinion flange
RP-12303 85W140 synthetic oil

Should I go with one of these kits or do u have any other suggestions. Thanks alot for your comments

definitely get an 8.8.you could use one from a 94-98 GT. 3.55 would be better suited
and they came stock in 94-98 GTs also. Its first of all a stroker motor and second of all your adding a supercharger.I bet most of the people that tell you to use 3.73s with a supercharger are using a 3.8 not a 4.3.that kit seems pretty complete but I never heard of that posi.look into a detroit truetrac posi instead. the only additional thing Id add is a swarr bar diff brace to keep the axle tubes in place.Another way to strengthen an 8.8 is have the axle tubes welded to the center section.
