Total Noob Wanting to upgrade my exhaust! (Video Included)
I have a 2001 mustang. The guy I bought it from says it has flowmasters, but it doesn't sound that great to me. It's a not dual exhaust.
Here's what I WANT: youtube.com/watch?v=lsob8BWvDqI&feature=related So I know nothing about this sort of thing or about modding cars in general  What is ALL the equipment i need to buy for this sound?What all do I need? I want to order everything online and bring it to someone to install it all. Oh yeah, how much would the labor cost by the way? Maybe a Benjamin? Thanks! Ashton |

dang that mustang sounds good i liked it buy what it says that he has maybe it will sound the same.. they say 40s series flow masters are the best for mustangs :S

The 06's sound different from the other models. Get Long tube headers, h-pipe, flowmaster original 40's, and some nice tips and you'll be set. I have a pair of flow 40's and they are great. I dont have the LT headers yet but i will soon

just get a catback. Im so thankful i didnt get complete exhaust. V6s with full exhaust dont sound tooo great. Im waiting for my cam install before i get headers and h pipe

just have a shop custom fab you a setup...
usually will be around the $300 area.... just ask for hpipe with flowmaster 40's with 2.25" piping, and make sure it's mandrel bent and not crush bent
