OK I found what it is. It is pointless dude don't waste your money. The whole a vortex of air in your engine is bs it adds no horsepower I've seen dyno proof it doesn't. And a throttle body spacer is also pointless. It benefit you more to spend you 80 bucks on a CAI or put it towards UD pulleys.

well, they're also just plain BAD for your car. The air going into the MAF has to be strait to meter properly and the turbulance craeted will mess up the signal from the MAF and cause your car to run worse, possibly just plain terribly after a while.

a huge sacrifice for a mere sound.

Im gald for your car's sake you 'ass out' because it is rather dumb sacrifice for your car to have the 'helix' noise.

the only reason i wanted it is i was gonna drill a port in it and incorperate my "shark" nx nozzle right into the helix. i figured the turbulence it creates would provide better atomization so i could run a bigger shot and reduce the risk of detonation. But i understand where your comin from on the MAF iv had problems with it after i installed my nx so i guess it wouldnt be good to entice the probability for more problems.... i ordered the ud pulleys tonight after i read all the rave reviews on em.. next im prolly going to shop for a cold air intake.. i dunno though i was really wanting to create a custom ram air that ported in under the car so i can still look factory...... thanx for the comment man.. i didnt know how the accent would look considering all the fac. gray panels but it ended up lookin pretty decent...

Id just go with a "cheap" fender-well CAI, but thats just me...

but if i had a real fast n/a set up id use a box-like intake mani, or a windstar mani and bolt all of the other intake assembly stuff to it and take in air through a hole in my custom fabbed hood.

I like the accent stuff as well. Red is the best color for a car, its a fact, lol.

aight i wanna take a second to laugh at saab and stangs...

Saab this part is way behind the MAF this part will go between the throttle body and the upper intake... and in no way will hurt your car... but i understand your concern for Stangs money ... we still consider you old and wise : )

Stangs.... i have looked and multiple places claim
"stallation
- Quiet Operation
- Perform"
... so i don't know why you would want it for the way it sounds but oddley enough your logic with the atomization is pretty much correct.... but still not worth it...

Sorry buddy

also their are a few things about custom Ram airs for the fenderwell... their is a kid trying it send him a PM about it
