ses light


Discussing ses light in the V6 Mustangs Forum. my ses light just came on today i think it might be my vacuum hose ...

ses light

my ses light just came on today i think it might be my vacuum hose because it makes a hissing sound when i shut her off. its a 98 v6.

have you checked. Sounds like you may have it, now look for the hose.

is the hose hard to get to? if not go to pepboys and just get a replacement one... it will cost you about $5 dollars to have it changed...

... the bad thing is if you only wanna pay $5 you have to do it yourself... and if the light doesn't turn off... disconnect your battery for like a minuet or two... mine went off when i chaged the battery soo

have them scan the the computer, it is free they have OBDII handhelds and will tell you a code, check all the hoses by the intake, make sure nothing popped off or cracked. could be an intake manifold gasket. get the code and post it up here.
