here in florida you can get it super dark...you have to have it at least where you can see a siloet of a person in the front seats...but i didnt think that it had to be that light in nc

... in Nebraska its only a secondary offense... so they can't pull you over for it but if they do they will tack it on to it... if you do end up getting it and you don't have tests ... just make sure you roll your window down before the cop gets out of his car... that way he doesn't feel endangered or threaten by the fact that he can't see inside your car

the tint varies from state to state, but the most common is 30%. i would check with your local po-po and find out what the legal tint is... mine is too dark for alaska but my car is registered in Alabama so it doesnt apply.. woohoo!

well most cops judge it by looking into the car... if they can barely see you its pull-over time... depends on the cop really. a lot of em can eyeball the tint level though so just be careful. not many will pull you over for just too dark tint

Apparently in NY whatever it comes off the line with, thats all you can have. Because it already has a little tint to it. I went all out with one of my tickets and got a lawyer, looked stuff up myself, talked to dealerships, the whole 9 yards, and I was told from every source that in NY you get what comes from the factory and that is it. So now every time I get a tint ticket, I go to a mutual friends junk yard, have him write me out a fake reciept for new windows, go to court and it gets thrown out.... and our emissions test is rediculous too now, the whole inspection process is hard as hell in NY I think we are like one of the toughest states now for inspections
