17X9 rims too big for a 2000 V6?

I have a 2000 mustang V6 coupe,
does anybody have any idea why my rims front rims seem to rub when i turn the wheels?
I put on oem 2003 Cobra Rims 17X9, i thought it was the tires so i bought new tires 245/45 and they still rub so I am wondering if I have to change something so that I can put the 275/45's on it and upgrade my rears to 315's please can anyone help me??

I asked a mechanic and their dumb asses said the rims were too wide when that is obviously not the case or is it?

AB has 9's up front and ive never heard his rub and ive been in his car when the wheel was locked. Your car must be very low.

it is a 10.5, but in you can fit any wheel with the right backspace. to keep the wheels tucked in the fenders, on a new edge, you can go 18x10 on all 4 corners with a 295mm tire without rubbing

so you can shove 315s on a 9in wide rim?
i thought that was the biggest you could go on a 10.5

I didnt say that. I have 315s on my 10.5's but if this guy has done the math to put 315s on a 9" rim, he may be able to do it. There will be a lot of sidewall flex putting that wide a tire on that rim though.

You can go 335mm on a 10.5" wheel no problem...
