Mach Shaker on a 6

I want the Mach hood and shaker kit..but how would I get this to work on my V6? I know that CDC makes a kit for the V6 but the applique the kit comes with looks extremely cheap IMO, and the Mach1 hood looks so much better. How would I accomplish this? Any pictures?

u have to cut and customize the hood. which also means u gotta remove ur current scoop that ya have on there. i say if ur gonna do it. get the mach 1 hood and do it the right way

dont get the applique. its a plastic piece o crap and youre better off doing it the right way as they stated above. i had one on my 3.8 and the plastic faded and cracked and i ended up having to take it off and fill in the holes before selling it.

With that setup you should be puttin down some good numbers

Yes but Im talking about the duct work...i plan on getting the mach hood...NOT the CDC kit. But would I have to get the CDC AND the Mach 1 hood for it to work?

^ His isnt functional...just covering the supercharger.

yea thas it, i just cant see spendin over a thousand dollars for a mach hood and the shaker for it...just cant justify spendin that kind of cash on something like that

with that u can save for a power adder

waiting on the denso u-groove plugs. no place around me sells them, so i had to special order them from some stupid company. theyll be here by the end of the week hopefully. then a week or so of driving around and breaking it in, then a dyno. kb says 422? i think?

same...then u need a hood for it too so its over $1k just for +.5hp

its more visual then perf then . i dunno it looks really good but for 1k that would be my last priority..

its a ram air system, but you wont see noticeable gains from it till you are going fast enough to actually force extra air into the car
