V6 Pony Package worth it?

Hey guys! I'm about to take the plunge and get a stang for the first time. I'm thinking of going with the premium with the pony package but was wondering if that package was really worth it? Thanks.

okay .. lemme lay it down for you ..

i have a 07 v6 pony pack sadly i got a automatic ...
pony pack grillz /w fog lights
white stripes screaming mustang
and the shelby spoiler
and yes i have the premium pack too .. leather shaker 500 all that

IMHO i doubt its worth it .. the extra money for the pony pack add it to the mods .. like some exhaust or intake .. cause those small fog lights help but its
just a GT wannabe style .. besides you wouldnt even be able to use the fog lights much ..

the leather is very very nice .. but i would have rather got a pony stampede cloth seat ... shaker 500 is a nice system its loud but not to loud .. i have to say i drove my friends 12mile scion today .. (he got it yesterday night) and it was manual i had hekka fun waisting his gas

but its really all up to you .. not a big fan on the shelby spoiler tho .. but if you think it looks good i say go for it .. just dont over pay .. i paid 28g'z for my car -.-

Na, the 06, figured i can get a better deal especially since its end of year time. Also getting the manual. I really want the GT but the price of the car along with gas and insurance would be too much. this will be my first muscle car so i'm gonna take it slow and in a couple of years after i'm outta college and workin regular I may get a V8.

the pony package is all about looks introduced to give the v6 the appearance options of the GT that way they could have the best style and all the features in the v6. If you like how it looks I say go for it.

As I've stated a few times, I have an '06 V6 with the Pony Package as well (pic in the Garage). Yes, it enhances the look of the car and gives it more bling, but it also gives the car better performance. A few things like the suspension and brakes feature better safety and driving features. Overall I thought it was worth it... I have an automatic, too, but the five-speed auto transmission is pretty sweet. That along with the gorgeous grill and foglamps and the side stripes and 17 inch wheels make for one sweet looking car. It kinda gives you an edge over the deluxe or regular premium V6. I paid about $24,500 for mine before all the taxes and stuff, and I'm totally happy with it. I would have gotten a standard, but with all the driving I do here in the big city it's just easier to have an automatic.

well i heard the 06 and 07 has a different transmission dunno if its true but yeah..

i like the pony pack but i dont like the fact taht theres no covers for the small fog lights and the fact that my black on black car has a white mustang stickers on the bottom but overall its good and i paid 28.952 or something

Hehe. =P Mine came with this spoiler, I didn't realize the '07s had a different spoiler. Hmmm.

The Pony Package automatic does indeed come standard with a 5-speed automatic transmission. You can get it on the deluxe or premium V6 but you have to pay $1,000 extra. So if you're going to go that route then the $2,000 extra for the Pony Package is most certainly worth it.

Thanks. I like the rims, the 17 inch Pony Pack rims are bigger than the rims of any Mustang V6 Ford has put out there. ; ) And mine are the same color as the car. Although I have to wonder how it'd look with the newer chrome rims Ford is outfiting some of the '07s in.

Right now I'm mainly concerned about doing something with the exhaust. I love the sound that car already makes, I'd just like for it to be louder, so I'm looking to find a way to amplify that sound. Other than that there's really not anything else I'm looking to do to my Mustang. I'm very happy with it. =)

well check out magnaflow.com and put up 06 mustang 4.0 they have parts and hear the sound like the v8 look one it has a aggresive tone
