hmm this is weird

alright well the other day i was cleaning everything out and forgot to put my air filter in. lol. but my car ran supreme like it was brand new. so i looked at the old filter and it was all dirty. so i replaced it with a brand spankin new one and its still not running as good as it did w/o a filter. any suggestions on what this could be?

sounds like you sucked up dirt into the intake. lol

never run your car without a filter. you probably thought it ran better because of less restriction from the lack of an air filter.

it's there for a reason.

yea, it ran better because it wasnt sucking air through a paper filter. Get a k&n and thats how it will always run.

it will run better. I doubt you hurt anything running without a filter, just dont do it anymore. I cant beleive you forgot to put your air filter back in.

you shouldn't need to clean the cai. the pipes wont be dirty on the inside... at least it wont affect the way it runs

+1 the filter should have kept the inside of the pipes clean.
