Which MAC setup do you like better?

Trying to decide which to go with....

MAC Shorty Headers with the longer Off-Road H-Pipe

or...

MAC LT Headers with the shorter Off-Road H-Pipe

Still trying to decide on a exhaust. Does anyone know if a dual exhaust for a GT will bolt-up (Aftermarket, not OEM)?

That's actually the exact setup I'm thinking of. Mac doesn't make catted H-Pipes though.

This is the exhaust that you are referring to, right?

shorties will do nothing for performance worth mentioning. longtubes on the other hand will and do more down the line when your engine is flowing more.

and no the GT will not bolt right up. it will take some bending. i know from experience.

How much bending?

One person says it will bolt-up, you say it won't?

it wont bolt up
the exhaust shop that did mine said it would take so much cutting, bending, and rewelding that it would actually be more expensive than to just make one

Is it worth it to get the ceramic coated headers?? Or is the industrial plated fine?

I'm confused. So the gt takeoff won't bolt right up?? That sucks cuz no shops around here will work on a car without cats. Even though we don't have to pass emission

get your h pipe custom made, buying a bolt in kit is a waste of money, get mufflers you like then have a shop run your pipe. if your getting LT's go ahead and put them on and drive to the shop with open headers and have them run pipe (about 150-200 bucks) then weld in the mufflers of your choice then have them weld in a crossover bar to act as the h-pipe

Not a bad idea. So.... If I were to order the MAC LT's for my car, and say, the "Bolt-In" Flowaster Exhaust for a 00 GT, just have a H-Pipe made to connect the two?
