Headers choices
I want to purchase some headers but I'm undecided. I want the long tube headers but since i live in Cali i wont past smog inspection and i dont want to waste my money on them so i'm also considering the JBA short headers for my 01 V6 Mustang. I know they're expensive but they have a carb # and i wont have to worry about not passing smog. Please can i get some advise...

make it street legal.
bolt up a high flow catted H pipe (the magnaflow catted H pipe is nice) then bolt up a cat back for the same model year GT it will sound and perform better and remain street legal

should i go with mac long tube headers or the short JBA headers with a carb #

i just think the short headers wont produce as much power as the Lts.

true, but the cats work better when closer to the engine and heat... etc. so CA has its reasons for its laws; they are just too strict imo
