Yea manufacturer claims on items like that are based on if you somehow managed to completely mod the hell out of the rest of your engine, and your making crazy hp and then just by chance you didnt get to the cai till just now, then you would maybe come close to seeing that much extra hp or tq. lol

only other thing to do is build up the engine or nitrous, etc. and thats not cheap. dude its plan and simple horsepower is not cheap. thats why not everyone has a fast car.

lmao yea
somewhere along the lines of putting on a 18psi s/c, new improved performance heads and cam, and intake they forgot about the CAI

manufacturer claims are mostly BS

very Famous saying on this site

HORSEPOWER IS NOT CHEAP

same with torque lol

cheapest bang for the buck is nitrous

nothing else will give you 75-150hp for $500-$600

in other wards what your asking for isnt possible unless "not much" is a couple grand

ok you want to keep up with a gt and eat rice breakfast lunch and dinner?
Get full exhaust headers, mid pipe, cat back.
get a cheap CAI this is to help with flow and throttle response
Under Drive Pulleys
SCT XCAL 2 tuner
gears 4.10 for auto, 3.73 for stick
t-loc
and you should be fast enough.

enh 1-2 gallons you don't need them really they will help with acceleration and take some time off that 1/4 mile.

Yeah my dad was the same way. XCAl 2 will give you some miliage back with an economy tune then buy a performance tune as well for the HP.
