8.8 rear end swap

so hey does any one have a clue how hard it is and the best place to get a manual to help do it? so far i'm lookin at doing it myself since i'm cheap lol plus i wanna see how this thing works so i can change the gears at the same time.
Also any estimates on price i should be paying for a rear end?

Hey AB if you see this, you said i would need the same year as my car right so i wouldn't be able to get one from a 03 or 02 or even an 01?. so that in mind what happens with the abs brakes sensor or is it replaced with the new rear end?

i would look for a rear end your year but alot will fit, i almost got one off a fox

gears...i'd have a shop do that...unless you've done it before

the swap isnt hard
ive seen my dad swap the axle out on a f-150 with a buddy in an hour or so. i think a haynes manual book will help though..i have one but i havent looked for that really

.... for geras you will need a few extra machines to do the work... i watched the trucks idiots install it on project old school this morning... they made it look easy... the only hard part looked like the crush bearing... i would take it to some average shop and see if they can install the pinon and yoke for you... the rest should be easy

dude you dont need any extra machines to put gears in your rear end....every thing should just slide in...thats if you put the things that need to go in first
