what year engine?

cause going from 190hp to 220hp for an engine swap is ludicrous.

you need a new bell housing, and sale your car and buy a GT it will be cheaper than the swap, if your dead set on a swap cause "you cant sale your car" like every other v6 driver that asks this question then swap in a a 351w or a 5.4 or some other nasty big v8

Agreed. If you can't sell your car, you can't put a v8 in your car. The insurance will be the same for swapping the engine as in buying the gt. It will actually cost MORE to buy an engine and swap it in.

oh also..

i think you should go ahead and do the swap. when i swapped mine it was fun looking for the best prices and driving around the city to pick up parts that I needed. And yes it probably cost more than if i traded and hell it took me a few months just to get everything together! But the best part about it was the experience, if i had to do it all over again i know that it would take me only a weekend just because i learned so much from hands on.
