STi's have no go up top stock, in the 1/8th sti, in the 1/4 Mach could be a bit faster. From any sort of roll or anything a bit further than 1/4 the Mach should win.

But being stock turbo'ed a bolt on STi id bet would be a lot faster than a bolt on mach, but atleat the mach will look good unlike the sti with its completely unnecessary 'aerodynamic' body parts.

the 1/4 it'd be close

From the launch STi would take it obvisouly, and in the quarter or from a roll would probably be close

Just for shits i looked up some numbers

2004 Mach1 : 305hp 320tq at 4200rpm 3469lb curb weight

2004 STi : 300hp 300tq at 4000rpm 3263lb curb weight

HP to Weight ratio(lower is better):

Mach 1: 11.374 lbs per 1 hp
STi: 10.877 lbs per 1 hp

From a roll it would be a drivers race, from a dig the STi should win every time.

STI-AWD

AWD vs RWD= AWD winner

i'd give it to the STI in any race personally

i dont really see wat the mach 1 has to offer that makes it worth it, just like what does the saleen have the makes somone wana pay so much more for that, same as roush

Yeah I'd say STI.

As for saleen a S/C an amazing suspension and having a limited edition car.
