Gears?


Alright guys time for the next mod.. Im looking at getting some gears for Christmas, the problem is i cant really decide on weather to get 3.73 or 4.10s im leaning towards 4.10s more. I have nitrous to so i dunno if that would be a problem with 4.10s? also getting the t-lok with it.. so can u guys help me out?

I have 4.10, with a manual. and i run nitrous. its works well. i like it.

i dd my car and also run a nitrous kit on mine. i have 3.73's in it because i like to stay in higher RPM's longer and make more power for a longer period of time rather than shifting too quickly. plus if you make highway pulls with friends or whatnot, your only getting to around 100 or so with 4.10's. my 3.73's take me to around 125mph in 4th.

i had a friend with an 02' GT with 4.10's and a couple other mods and when making pulls with an S2K and an EVO VIII they were getting a little upset because we were only going from 30-100 or so and they were making pulls to around 130-140mph. i want a little more top end and more practical for a DD.

I have 4:10s with nitrous and i love it. Anything above 4:10s is a killer on the highway. I dont go above 60 as it is cause of the gears.

mine was 250 for gears/tloc/master bearing kit. But it depends on where you live.

ya thats true i go to the same guy for all my installs and he hooks me up with cheap nitrous fills etc..

4.10s for auto and 3.73 for a manual. install cost me $300 at a local mustang shop

expect around 300$ if you get it cheaper its a bonus but thats usually the most expensive bolt on install
