Plugs

I seen on here Autolite Coppers were the best... but our car comes with plugs that have platinum on them. Getting the Autolite Coppers is even a downgrade, why would coppers be better than the autolite platinums? and doesn't the platinums last longer?

and quick response please, my mechanic has my engine pulled to fix freeze plugs, and he said my plugs and wires have never been changed (112k miles too lol!) i had just bought those coppers to put in after he was done with the freeze plugs... but he said he'd go ahead and put them in. then he was like why did you just get coppers, your car is supposed to have platinum plugs.

i told him if he thought it was best, since he was gonna get wires and put them on, to just exchange those for the platinum ones (receipts still in the bag with the plugs) and of course i'd make up the diff. anyways, should i stick with the coppers or go plats? i need 2 know fast before he switches or puts them in whichever

a copper core plug will give you better performance but dont last long, maybe 20k to 30k, platinums last alot longer, @60k to 100k but are Not the best plug from a performance standpoint...
