Morana Racing 1.8 Roller Rockers

The site says good for 15-18hp, but sites always advertise more than what you really get. how much could i really expect to gain if i were to get these? also, on one site, i read that they could damage the 3.8. anyone know about this?

well 1.73 is ideal for our aftermarket rockers with camshaft
its got the same/similar geometry to the stock valves over the 1.8s
but the gains are 0hp really maybe 1-2,3hp if anything...
1.8s only show gains because its length

its like a see-saw
if you have a 5ft board you can only go say 3ft...if you have a 6ft board on the see-saw you can go 3.2feet...that kinda deal....it opens the valve a tad bit more

Definitely stay with 1.73 if you are going to get a cam. You want to get your lift from a cam, not your rockers. The 1.8 geometry is supposed to be off a little and can sometimes cause problems. I've had mine installed for over 2 years and they are working fine.
