you dont need anyone to install it...if you know how to plug something in...im sure you can manage

it downloads tunes to your car computer giving it codes n shit to read making your car perform different(better) and saving gas

ok so it says you can add tunes so im guessing one is stock and then others are different levels of performance which you change with the selector. wat if you get more mods after that? and how much of a difference have yall noticed

... see thats the thing what if you get more mods... thats why most people go with the xCal2 instead of a chip... or im sure many people will purchase the livewire when it comes out... you might have heard that buzzin round here

i put a link of a dyno chart of proven gains
it was a 95 v6 with just exhaust and made
8rwhp and 12rwtq
which is about
11bhp and 15btq....torque is wat u want

plus that increase was from all around....from low end to top end

The chip is just an alternate for the x cal it does about the same the chip is installed with the tunes in it. Then you can get the bezel that they sell on the site. That way you can instantly change tunes on the fly.

Chips and X-Cals are two seperate monsters...

You need to have the chip burned at a shop...And then installed in your computer...

The XCAL-2 loads tunes through the data port...And is a flash tuner...No hardware

here's the deal with the SCT 4-way flipchip as I own one, with also comes with remote cable. the 4 way chip allows you to change tunes on the fly if needed, there are 3 custom tunes and 1 stock tune on the chip... the chip installs on the J3 port located on the computer card. the computer is behind the passenger side kicker panel. don't forget to clear the contacts before you install the chip because they are coated from the factory. one of our forum vendor's VMP Tuning also offers them with custom v6 preloaded tunes.
