Bad miss, Undrivable

The miss started last night on the way home. I have looked at spark and found it good at all cylinders. I just changed the fuel filter 6 months ago. I get a spray of fuel from the Shrader valve, but I don't have a gauge to check pressure. The inlet track is modified by a "PowerAid" TB spacer (was on the car when I bought it), and the air filter housing has been opened some (again before I bought it). The exhaust is a Mac 2.5 all the way back with cats and shorties (I would trade this for a GT set up in a second). Other than that it is stock. Tune up done 6 months ago and it had Seafoam through it a month ago. There is no code being thrown by the ECU.
I take good care of my cars so this is really bugging me. It feels like a constant thing until I rev it up high enough to hide it (3k). I get jerked down the road as the exhaust pops. It is BAD! Please help as this is my work car.
I have to get to work now (thank God I have a truck), but will check back at midnight. Thanks in advance.

"misses" are such a pain in the ass. Youll drive yourself crazy trying to find it.

Start your car in the dark and check and see if your spark is arcing somewhere, like on your manifolds.

Clean fuel injectors with seafoam.

Clean MAF sensor.

Check vacuum lines.

My car would miss to the point it was undrivable as well. Turned out it was a bad fuel injector. Thank god it was under warranty.

Is it throwing any engine codes?

A friend who fills up his car at the same place I do says he had this problem last week and it was the gas. We filled up within a couple hours of each other. I added some drier and cleaner and drove it to work (I am suffering from whiplash!). No change yet.
I did notice it subsides- not quite completely- under heavy throttle. Not a good thing to use in the snow. It also is at its worst at 1200-1700 and operating temp.
There are no codes. I see no sparks unless I unplug something. I just Seafoam'd it a little while ago. I will clean the MAF and TB tomorrow after work (working days for the holiday shutdown).

If you suspect water in the gas use up all of the gas and refill and also change the fuel filter. If it started suddenly bad gas is likely.

Also take the plugs out and take a look at them. I had a misfire at high speed that was due to heavy deposits on one plug. This is especially likely in the back cylinders (#3 and #6).

Thanks guys still driving out the bad crap. Decided to add some fuel system cleaner, and fill the tank at 1/2 tank. Seemed to help a little. I'll pull the plugs as soon as I run this out.

My car is a 2000 Mustang and it does the same thing as your exactly same RPM range also. Mine is drivable, it just sputters/surges/misses at that range.

I put in plugs, wires (Durlalast) which I think are crap and I am going to change them this week, new plugs, PCV, Fuel Filter, Good 93 octane gas, cleaned air temp sensor.

I am going to test every sensor on the engine this week to find out what is causing this.

When you find out what caused you, please let me know and I will do the same.

Thanks

This only happens (at least it feels this way between 1200-1700 prm's)

You think it could really be cause by oil in the cylinders?

yea i looked at it, my problem is im turbo'd so i cant have that boost going down in the crankcase so it would be easier for me to run a catch can somewhere with a line coming from each pcv hole and have it run to a central location where a breather is and have it vent there that way the can will catch the oil and still vent the pressure without boost going down thru the pcv valves
