Air conditioner line replacement questions

there's a hard aluminum colored A/C line on the passenger side of the engine that goes from the firewall to the condenser at the front of the engine that has a hole due to the PO. how do you remove those circular clips that hold that line on? is that line part available?

car is 98 3.8 v6

Ha, ha the first thing i thought of on this was that the front of the engine has a hole due to the PO (probation officer) ha, anyway, circular clips could be snap rings maybe??

first thing that i think of.

There is a disconnect tool which I think is the same as the tool used to disconnect fuel lines. You can get a set of them at an auto parts store.

I presume the line is available from Ford.
