Back to Split Port Swap

Ok I called the junkyard... guy will give me the heads, and lower intake for 150. Then I just need the windstar upper, that im not looking to pay over 60 for.

What else would i need... throttle body off of a windstar or what... clue me in so I get it right, and get a actual price for everything. not looking at p&p them. and would the windstar upper even help any more if the lower and heads arent ported? thx

just fill me in on what all i need... basically.

with the windstar upper you will be spending much more than 60 bucks.........their is a good amounts of changes that will happen and sum fabricating if you do it yourself
VAP Auto - Windstar Kit

this website has the kit and all you need for the windstar as for the split port swap...im not too sure what you but i am assuming youll need rockers and springs and the components that go into your heads

fuel lines, you might need the split port ones, but if not modified ones are in order. can't remember how it goes on yours. since in 98 they changed to non return style.

Not looking at spending the extra cash for it right now.

So what would be easier... just goin ahead and taking the full split port swap, or taking the lower and heads, then gettin the upper windstar outta a junkyard too...

what all would i need for regular split port swap... i mean, its 40 hp anyway... not gonna go crazy just for another 7 or 8.
would i still need fuel lines for the split port swap?

yea I'll probably just take the full split port swap. didn't realize that the windstar would need all that junk with it... not worth $345 in my opinion. for that you could have lt headers with 20+ hp.
