ABS system

Does anyone have a 2002 v6 mustang, can tell me if it has a anti-locking
brake system. It doesn't show the icon on the cluster.

i found out from my ford dealer that i don't have ABS brakes, all you have to do is give
them the last 8 digits of your vin #.

yup it is an option. Also as a side note depending on the year youe may have the ABS light on your dash, but that doesn't mean you have ABS. However, if you don't the light won't actually turn on ever.

The light on your dash is a dummy light. You could have ABS on your car and the light could be on but it doesn’t mean its functioning.

you have ABS but if it senses wheel slip it wont brake as hard as it normally does

my 2000 doesnt have it. plus i don't like it personally.

moms 2000 vette has it and hit a small puddle once and started the ABS in with braking and releasing and damn near hit the guy infront of me. maybe i just have had not so good experiences with ABS.

My car has ABS, and thats the main reason i run nitrous and not a turbo, so i dont have to move the ABS unit.
