Question

What do you think?

Ok so ive had my v6 for a little while and im pretty close to having it paid off. I no im thinking a little ahead here but im gonna work as much as possible at my crappy job right now and this summer im getting a full time job and more money. So im thinking to save up all summer and get a v8. So the question is what do you guys think stick with the v6 and mod it, get like a 02 Gt, or get a older cobra 97-98?

definantly go for the V8. I personally like the way the 02 GT looks over the 97 model but i have to admit a cobra would be sweet. I would use your v6 as the down payment on one. Hell you might be able to sell it and get a good amount towards the cobra

Save up, and continue till you've completely paid off the V6.

Then buy a crate motor and throw it in the s197.

I no that’s why im thinking the cobra. It will probably be one of those 2 options or going to a 1999 cobra but thats a little too much. I’m going to try to save up enough where i wont have to take out a loan. Hopefully my friend who’s spoiled and his dads gonna buy his car for him next year will buy it. He told me he would give me 8000-9000 for it. What are good prices for a 98 cobra and 02 gt with relatively low miles?

It looks ok but theres 130,000 miles on it. Its ok i got time to look around. I wouldnt buy it any sooner then this coming summer anyway. I really wanted to stay away from another loan but i like the look of the 1999 Cobra a hell of a lot better. I actually just looked it up on KKB and it says in excellent condiction a 1999 Cobra with 50,000 miles is 11,400 retail value. If thats true im getting a 1999 Cobra

Well look at it this way. If you use your V6 to put a down payment on another car the loan wont be so bad

Yea i agree with you on that. Should i try selling it privately because i no dealerships will rip me off for a trade in. If i did sell it privately how much do you think i would get for it?
