well I would say Nitrous would be the best bang for your buck but on the safe side just the basic bolt ons like cai pullies exhaust tuner and gears.. But back to the nitrous part if u have a tune and all the parts to run it safley i dont c the prob in nitrous.... I love it lol

lots of boost, or lots of spray. Both require supplementary mods. 12s arent easy for us.

but you cant do just 10 psi and go run a 12.xx right? Supporting mods for a setup like that are extensive.

but if you plan on just going FI on a otherwise stock car I would run lower boost to keep it reliable. I believe the stock blocks are good to 300HP. Some guys on 3.8mustang.com are running m112's on otherwise stock cars at around 7psi and putting down around 315-350 horsepower safely. Some have some supporting mods though. Its not going to be cheap to get into the 12's safelty.

300hp.....is baby food for a v6 mustang turbo
the strain of a m112 vs a turbo kit is huge
those m112s arent to great, they make good torque and low power...and most hit UNDER 300hp with 12psi i believe.
turbo kit with 12psi your looking easy at over 350rwhp stock motor
top end work 420+rwhp

once again turbo =#1

Turbo > Nitrous > Procharger > m112=vortech > stock

and 1/4 mile times your roughly looking at
first off ive YET to see a procharger, vortech or m112 v6 on a stock motor hit 12s

Turbo-10psi-12s VERY easily
Nitrous- USUALLY low 13s but one has done 12.6 with a stock motor throttle body to oil pan
procharger-13.4+ with your avg bolt ons and gears...you might manage more but i havent seen it
vortech-mid 13s+
m112- mid high 13s

to run 12's all you really need is exhaust 11psi procharger and some bolt-ons. gears/T-lock to get the car moving.

with 301rwhp i went 13.3@107mph w/ 2.1 60ft. that mph is good enough for 12's.

chris, not to hate on your slightly opinionated views.

but why hasn't your stang gone faster then 13? you are pushing 10+ easily now a days. whats your track time?

Also, OP, Turbo will be the best, Nitrous is cheapest, Superchargers are all very comparable with small manufacture differences but other wise perform the same way.

13.1 @ 108 --2.1 60ft was done on 8.7psi untuned
that alone had 12second potiential
my 10psi pump tune with the last setup was good for high 11s-flat 12s easy my race gas setup was good for mid 11s pretty easy.
we wont ever find out though
