I moved up here back in March. Already trying to make plans to get back down to NC though. lol

And I'd really like to get atleast $5,500 for it. But always open to hear any offers. Trying to pay off some bills and then start saving up for a New Edge Stang again.

Well, if you're ever serious about getting it and want to cut that time in half we might be able to work something out. I still have a ton of friends in Jacksonville, NC and could take a weekend trip down there. Could stop by and look at it and see if you like it. Just a suggestion if you decide you want it and want to put in the time to finish it up.

I have the header gaskets on the way finally, and a new coolant overflow tank too. Gonna do those one of these weekends. Then besides the tranny, the other issue it has is that I think it needs a re-tune. I have a shop up here I've been thinking about calling to tune it, but I'm waiting on that for now.

I appreciate the offer, but looking to sell now. Especially with winter coming up soon. Just gonna use my Jeep for now and look for a Cobra next Spring/Summer.

Update:

Swapped in new plug wires and spark plugs yesterday as well as new header gaskets with Stage 8 locking header bolts. Exhaust leak is gone and no more tapping. Also the car is running beautifully again. Took it out for a drive and no more hesitation during acceleration. Has all of it's power back and it felt so good to drive. Was also idling 100 times better. Glad I finally had time to do this simple fix!

So only two problems now. Gotta mess around with the cooling system to fix a small coolant leak, and the synchros in 2nd and 3rd gear.

Update:

Price is gonna be lower now. I was driving home yesterday and started hearing a clanking noise coming from the tranny and some tapping sounding like it was coming from around the #7 cylinder area. Have no idea what that could be, but I think the tranny noise is the throw out bearing broken into pieces...And all of this at once while I was driving home from work. It still moves, but I decided to get it towed so as to not do too much more damage than whatever is already done.

Anyone have any offers or wanna come look at it just let me know. It's obviously not as high as $5K anymore since it's gonna need to be towed out of here, taken apart, and fixed. If it doesn't sell soon I'll probably part it out. I just want it gone so I can start saving and looking for a Cobra.

man...that is one beautiful car bro. wish i had the money to take her off your hands. too bad you arent looking at trades for something other than a cobra. got a mean built 2000 police interceptor here. unmarked even lol. im too poor and unlucky to own a real mustang, so i have to stick with cars that accept mustang parts.
