79 Capri for sale

So here it is, it needs some work but it's a reliable driver and with someone who does their own bondo work it could have the kinks worked out real easy. It's a mostly stock 302 with a 3 speed AOD transmission. It does not burn oil, nor does it leak that I have noticed. This is the only Capri or Mustang I have ever seen where the interior door handles are on the bottom of the door, not up high. This is a factory non AC car, the heater works great. NOTE: The Optima Red Top in the pics does not come with the car. It has a new Napa battery in it now.

The good:

-Edelbrock Performer intake
-Freshly rebuilt Holley 635 CFM carb
-Factory dual snorkel intake with new Laurel tubes(1 inner fender tube is missing, the driver's side. Unit came out of a GT)
-Heavy Duty electronic ignition
-New MSD Blaster 3 coil
-New Accel 8mm wires
-Coolant flushed not long ago
-New cheapie dual electronic radiator fans w/auto on/off temp sensor (No shroud. Also have the Flex a lite plastic fan and shroud that came off of it)
-New U joints
-American Racing 14" Aluminum Wheels (some of the center caps have seen better days, but the wheels are in good shape)
-Fresh Pennzoil Platinum 10-W30 Full Synthetic Oil with Motorcraft filter
-Interior in good mostly intact shape, seats and upholstery are in good shape
-New Headliner
-New Sony Explod CD head unit with front input
-New 6 1/2x9" Sony Explod speakers in boxes in the rear, single 6" round under dash
-New thermostat

the bad:

-Some rust (I'll tell all I know of): the driver's door would be easier to skin or replace. The bottom of it is pretty much gone. The passenger side door I believe is salvageable (rust bubble under the trim in the middle and a smallish dent). There are two spots behind the rear tires, one on each side. The driver's side is bubbled up and the passenger side has a hole (see pics). There is a bubble on the driver's side behind the front wheel well as well, it's not bad though. Most of it could be repaired at home by someone who knows bondo. There are a couple other spots dime-quarter sized but that's pretty much it. There is some rust under the battery but it isn't very bad.
-The rear bumper cover is warped, may be salvageable
-Cracked dash cap
-Driver's seat is slightly lopsided
-Center console display does not work (I think it's just disconnected)
-Needs a transmission mount (bumps when it shifts sometimes)
-Tach doesn't always work
-Hood does not release from interior (It just needs a new cable and mount)
-Needs a new antennae

This is a car that has alot of potential for someone who has the time and know-how to finish it. I would love to see someone build this car to what it has the potential to be. I am asking $1800 OBO. If you have any questions you can ask on here or by PM. I am in Lutz Florida, about 10 miles N of Tampa.
