not for a cobra t-5 z with no core charge...
hell people are selling regular t-5's for that price and they require a core... 975 shipped they are paying 900 for the transmission dont have to give a core and i put a steel thrust plate on it.. go see what one of these cost new..

the t-5-z has hardend gears a taperd pocket bearing for the main to input shaft wich fixes 80% of t-5 failure and has a little longer gear ratio and came stock with a steel bearing retainer and a short throw shifter..

even stock it will hold more power but with the preload on the shafts and the hardend steel bearing retainer it will hold alot more then a stock t-5 i would feel comfertable putting 400 lbs of torque to this one i just built..

great trans no doubt. Problem is alot of ppl are getting away from T5s and for a little more money a good used tremec can be had.

yeah i am going to get a tremic once this one goes bad i will rebuild it sell it and buy a tko600 but the cobra tranny is real nice if it doesnt sell i am putting it in my car. but there are 11 people watching it so i think its gonna come down to the last 10 minutes and the bidding is gonna go through the roof...at least i hope so...
the thing is that the buy it now is 975 with free shipping but if it ends on an auction the shipping is 80.00 so there is only 140.00 they could save so if the bidding goes to 975 then the shipping is still 80.00 lol i win

Great thinking on your auction setup!
I agree its a great trans and with shipping included its not a bad deal. I cant afford a tremec so I am one of the few who still depend on the old T5 and really have nothing bad to say about them.

they are good transmissions u know that every owner beats on their car and i have seen these with 100,000+ miles beaten all its lfe just getting its first rebuild... then when u actually build it with a preload on the taperd bearings like they are supposed to have then it makes them even stronger..

ya i have about 7 transmissions in my garage right now lol i sell about 1-2 a week
its about to end and it would have been cheaper for them to buy it now.. i am making 10 more then i was asking.. buy it now was 975 with free shipping bidding is up to 905 and shipping is 80 so thats 985
