---If you buy from Blue Oval Industries---

Please read THIS

I am really shocked that a business can do this when the Mustang community (or ies, as we are all in this together) are so close together- you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us...

That's screwed up man. I got burned by them on some "seat track extensions" that didn't fit right AND jacked the seat up like 3 inches higher!!!!! They would not take them back because " they were already installed". How the hell else would I find out they didn't fit??????????????

Maybe you should have asked arround about the fitment of those brackets with your seats before ordering them?
Also maybe you should have just set them in to see how they would fit & or measured before bolting them in?

If I were a vendor I wouldn't take something back that had been installed either. Sounds like you are blaming them for your mistakes.

Just my opinon..

Damn, and i always thought they were a good company. Well there's tons of mustang owners who aren't going to buy from them.

In my opinion, if a vendor advertises a product for a certain vehicle and it doesn't fit that vehicle, they should take it back. It's false advertising when you say it fits a vehicle and it doesn't. If he says it fit a car, then it will fit. If it doesn't fit that car, he will take it back and remove that car from the list of cars it fits.
If a vendor requires me to hunt around to see if it properly fits my car, I'll hunt around and find a new vendor.

There ebay auction clearly stated they were for 79-04 mustangs. I assumed they were correct about THEIR OWN PRODUCTS!!!!!

It's alot easier to bolt them to the seat THEN bolt them to the car. Once bolted to the seat, they were "installed" according to them. It's a straight forward install, kinda hard to screw that up. Maybe I could have set them in place and measured first, but I assumed they would fit AS ADVERTISED!!!

I fail to see how I made the mistake, unless it was ordering from them.

That avatar would be great if that chick's hands were in her pockets though.

I felt a lot of the same way guys. Better safe then sorry ya know? Money isn't easily had and to think you throw away all that work and effort on some shotty product or people, it really doesn't seem worth it.
