Blue Oval Industries

Have any of you ever hear of or used Home for your Ford Mustang @ Blue Oval Industries? I have used them on nearly all of my exterior aftermarket parts (headlights, tailights, etc.) and have had a pretty good history with them.

I have also had to deal with their customer service when I had a problem with a part they shipped me and it was resolved quickly, without problem.

They have moved more towards the market on ebay now, but they still keep up with their website, so here is my contribution to a vendor. Enjoy if you have never used them before!

I bought brake calipers off them. Good company. But don't buy any sort of headlights/foglights from them. I've heard horror stories about that. But everything else, IMO, is fine.

Really? What kind of stories? I have both on my car (headlights for a year now) and have never had a problem....Well, I take that back, when I first got my taillights one of them wasn't sealed properly and when I washed my car a lot of water got in it. I contacted them and got a new one rushed ordered to me though with no problems.

I take back everything I said good about them....

I ordered new headlights from them over 2 weeks ago to replace the ones I have busted on my car for an accident, called a week ago and they told me they would be here by Friday....2 days ago. I called them again today, only for some arrogant man to tell me "you people throw fits" when these parts go on back order.

I went off on him to say the least.

The lied to me more than once and told me to expect the lights sometime around the 17th....Yeah right! I am without a car until I get them in! I demanded a refund and politely told him to &*$^ off!

I ordered a shift knob from them on a ebay auction on the sixth, I didnt get any tracking info , then when I emailed him to ask about it he was a dick to me, instead of giving me the info it was easy to act like a prick about it! two weeks for a shift knob!, I paid for ups shipping and he shipped it via fedex postal service, which it starts by fedex then transfers to the usps. They charge you for ups then ship it the cheapest way possible to make the most money off of it.

I don't know if he is the owner or not but the guy I spoke to this morning is a head case. He went off because I wanted a part replaced that they shipped to me damaged. I will never do business with this company again. There are plenty other good business's out there to get my parts from.
