LMR and woofersetc


I placed an order from these 2 companies for a combined total of about $1500 and had a few problems on my end which both companies handled very well. They were constantly calling me trying to get it worked out. Anyways heres what happened short as I can make it. There was actually even more phone calls between trying to figure out what was going on.

I placed an order from woofersetc.com on a friday, and late model restoration on sunday.

Monday late model restoration calls me saying the card was declined (i know theres plenty money on the card, literally enough to go buy a new car on), and one item was back ordered. So I gave them my home # vs cell phone for billing and they ran that.

Tuesday I get a call from woofers etc with the same problem, they change the number and run the card again.

Wednesday I get a call back from both companies saying the card was declined again. They verify all info etc which was correct (so I thought) and ran the card again.

Thursday I get a call back from both companies again, one saying it was denied again due to a fraud alert (I guess bc of them both running the card xx times) and the other saying it was denied due to the # on the back of the card being wrong.

So it turns out the # on the back of the card is rubbing off I thought one digit was ___, when actually it was ____ because its very hard to read. I called the cc company got the alert taken off, called both companies back right away, gave them the correct info and all was well.


By far the best customer service ive had from anyone which takes a bit to impress me. Hell I dont even like americanmuscle and look how many people do. The best part about it was they were nice about everything the whole time. I can go to the gas station, get gas with __ bank card thinking its my other and enter the wrong PIN and theyre rude as hell telling me the card was denied or tell flat out tell me me "you dont have enough money", then I realize whats up and it works the second time. Not once did it seem like they were trying to be rude thinking I was trying to go over the cc limit, not have $, stole the card, etc.

The only down side to late model restoration is why in the hell do they charge a $3-4 fee to use a different billing and shipping address? Sure its only a few dollars but I dont see the point .

You wouldnt pay someone to f**k your wife and then brag about how good the guy was so why have someone work on your car and then brag about how fast it is or all the new parts you just got installed.

Yea ive done ALLOT of business with woofersetc.. And they have always had awesome customer service its the main place i buy my car audio stuff from and they have great prices..
