!@#$ Mac!!!

Son a bitch... well I ordered a set of Mac ceramic coated longtubes and a H-pipe from Lethal Performance last months. The day after the order was placed I was told there would be a 1 1/2 week back order, no big deal. After 2 1/2 weeks I finially have a box show up. I recieved the longtubes but no mid-pipe. So I called Lethal to find out Mac forgot to ship the mid-pipe. Finally the mid-pipe shows up another week and a half later which was yesterday.
I go to the shop this morning and get the longtubes installed. I open up the box for the mid-pipe and find that they sent me two left side pipes. I wonder how long it is going to take them to fix this this time.

It's because you ordered an h-pipe, if you would have gotten an x pipe they would have gotten it right

Yeah I've gotten Mac Products through CJ's Pony Parts because they stock Mac in advance so you don't have backorder issues...

But it sucks to see Mac have shitty inventory...

Lethal dropped the ball again today. On the bright side the car should be running again tomorrow.

Well at least there's a plus (that the car will be up and running)

Well I am sending the H-pipe back to Mac and I have an X-pipe that will be here tomorrow. The only issue is I won't get my money back for the H-pipe until it gets back to California and I had to eat the overnight cost for the x-pipe. All Lethal would do is give me $10 off the x-pipe after a month of bullshit. I can't blame everything on Lethal but I highly doubt I will ever place another order with them.

William,

I'm sorry but the manufacturer packed the box wrong which is completely out of our control. Once you notified us about it we worked with you to get you a replacement and offered you a discount on it as a gesture of good faith. If you were expecting us to overnight you a pipe for free and eat the manufacturers mistake you may have set your expectations a little high. I think we did the best we could considering the circumstance. In addition to that we had to charge you for the new pipe until the other one is returned as it's our policy. Not saying that you would do this but some customers in this case don't make the effort to return the warranty item and we're left at a loss as the manufacturer won't refund us for an item that hasn't been returned. I assure you that as soon as the H-pipe is returned to MAC you will be refunded for it.

Just be glad that you're dealing with a reputable company that cares about their customers, answers their phones and makes sure in the end our customers are satisfied.

As I mentioned some things are out of our control and s%&t happens but we were there to help fix the problem. If that doesn't earn your future business I don't know what else will.

I appreciate your business and understanding. In the future if there's anything else that you need to can contact me direct and I will do the best I can to help you out.

Jared

I never said that was under your control and I completely understood. Nowhere in the title did it say anything about Lethal. My issue was that they completely forgot to ship the mid-pipe and then when they finally did it was wrong.
I am sorry but when I placed the order I was told it was a week and a half backorder and instead it took a month to get the wrong parts. Again not completely your fault but with the way it was handled I'm sure it has happened more than once. On top of all that I didn't order the parts from Mac I ordered them from you.
I didn't ask for you to discount the parts all I asked was for you to get me the parts as quickly as possible. With the amount I spent on this last order and the amount that I have spent on customer's cars I didn't think it was to much to ask for someone to cover overnighting the part.

I'm Glad to see that I am not the only company having a problem getting MAC stuff to my customers. Not to defend Lethal Performance becuase I'm sure I am better then them....

But when MAC tells you two weeks thats all you can go by. You tell your customer this and then hope. I recently had a customer wait 8 weeks for a prochamber. Insane. And this isn't about stocking parts. Right now MAC won't fill my stocking order, only one part at a time. Nor have they filled other distributors stock orders.

Anyway. Just wanted to vent.

Hmm...this is interesting...I've never had a problem getting Mac stuff. I always go through CJ's Pony Parts because they are local and I can just pick it up at the store. I call and order it, they say it'll be a day or two; call me when it's in and I go pick it up. Never had to wait longer than 3 days...

When is the last time you ordered something. This is a recent problem for the most part. This summer it has been tough to get mac. There was a 2 month period where noone and i mean no one had 2005 headers or prochamber. How do you go two months in the summer on backorder for the CURRENT model mustang? LOL.
